Educators & Staff

Australian Children’s Education Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) determine the minimum requirements for staffing.  Our team of educators are kind, caring and experienced, qualified educators will guide and nurture your children throughout their learning journey. We aim to exceed the regulations for educator to child ratios. Children require much love and care throughout the day. Piccolo is capable of providing extra care and attention to your child by providing a higher level of educators in each of our care environments. 

The team is led by our Centre Director Joanne. As a highly experienced educator she comes with around 20 years experience in Early Childhood Education and Care across various settings and service types. Jo started her Journey with Piccolo in 2020, continuing her career within the industry so that she can make a positive impact on little lives in their most vulnerable years. 

Our educators are hand selected on the basis of their qualifications, experience, knowledge, values, vision for children and learning, and their commitment to families and the community. 

Attending regular professional development training ensures greater efficiency in the service operation, keeping up to date with relevant information, and access to new research supports our understanding of regulatory frameworks.
